Best Productivity Resources

January 29, 2022

In this article, I will be discussing the best productivity resources and apps for you to use to help you keep productive.

Starting off, we have Notion, the app I’m actually using to type this article and share it with you. Notion is a brilliant app for productivity on desktop however their mobile app needs improvement. It crashes from time to time and it’s not exactly for editing your notion, it’s more for viewing it. You can edit it on mobile and it’s brilliant on tablet for editing and viewing however not so good on phone as you will experience the issues I previously mentioned. If you’re looking for an app which lets you create multiple pages, share them to the web, create multiple spaces or to collaborate with others, Notion is going to be your best bet. I won’t be comparing it to other apps however, for that you can either wait for a later article which I have planned talking about comparing productivity resources or apps or you can search up ‘App A vs App B’ but replace App A and B with the apps you’re comparing such as ‘Notion vs Trello’.

Back to the article topic, we have Evernote. I personally haven’t used it however its interface looks eye-pleasing and the icon stands out, keeping you to the app or making you check it with its bright-green coloured icon. It’s great for note-taking, however I don’t think it’s necessarily the type of app for planning unless you’re going to stick to a sort of diary. If you’re looking for an app for quick note-taking or typing up diary entries, this one’s great for you. However if you’re looking for planning, I’d suggest either Notion or Trello, which is our next topic.

Up next, Trello! Trello is a very popular app for planning and team collaboration. In the app, you can add sections, boards, text and images wherever you want on a board. If you’re one with collaboration, this app is for you, however if you just need a planner for yourself I’d personally recommend Notion, which can be found back at the top of this article!

Finally, we have Todoist. With it’s red-themed design, it sticks out to the human eye. It has many features, such as:

  • Reminders (Pro subscription needed)
  • To-do lists, which are the main purpose of the app itself.
  • Priority levels, so you can set tasks of top-priority to be shown to you first.
  • Break tasks into sub-tasks, so you can have a task inside of a task!
  • Add integrations.
  • Filter and tag your to-do lists.

If you’re specifically just looking for an app for to-do lists, Todoist is the app for you.

In conclusion, Notion is one of the best and most popular apps on this list. It has to-do lists, note-taking, collaboration, and more all in one app. So you’re best off downloading Notion. This article was not sponsored, this is my genuine opinion!
